Posted 09 April – Well, I can’t absolutely say there’s no way to get it working – all I can say is that I can’t get it to work on Win bit and can’t find anybody out there in Google searches that says they got it working either. Smaller than almost any other force feedback joystick on the market, the force 3D promises to give you full force feedback, without taking up valuable desk space. Logitech Wingman Force 3d Joystick – | eBay
Posted 16 April logitecu That is what I wrote down: While the joystick did a good job of bobbing, jerking and pulling along with the games I played, there was a definite difference between the strength of the force feedback in relation to the SideWinder and focre WingMan Force.
Now Logitech has realized a new cousin to it’s larger counterpart, the Force 3D joystick. There are also some high tech FFB sticks on the market expensive ones.
Anyone who actually enjoys their desk space, however, had a much different take on the gimongous joystick. Because of its similarity to the SideWinder FFP, I had no problems with the default joystick configurations on any of the games.
Anyone interested in purchasing my old wingman force. Shooters fared much better, with little kicks and jolts coming across much more reliably on the Force 3e.
Considering the limitations of the hardware on such a fundamental level, we did not continue development. I did do a logitwch of search on this stick while it seems you are the only one who can use it, but maybe after 2 Years there has been a change in drivers.
But in terms of a lower priced, reliable force feedback solution, the force 3D delivers a solid, if not incredible, experience.
New “Useful Materials” page now available: Posted 23 April – I always wonder why force feedback is an option for these flight sims when they dont wingan make them anymore.
I just want it to go to someone who will enjoy it like I once did Maybe you can verify on what Smoking did wrote down; does this FFB stick work on an 64bit Win10????? anybody using the old Logitech wingman force in 64bit OS
I don’t know but I do have a Wingamn Force3d stick lpgitech different, same producer and to late learned that it does not work with Win 7 64bit. So I confirm there is a reason to worry, but I have no answer. The question is, does it pull it logktech Windows does show it as a Wingman Force in the “unspecified device” category in the Control Panel “Devices and Printers” applet, but gives roll-over status messages of “Driver unavailable” and “driver error”.
You’ll definitely enjoy the smaller size of the joystick, and the buttons sans the main trigger feel great — but if you’re looking for a definitive force feedback experience, you’re not going to get it here. Posted 09 April – Both work fine although the 45 position on one of the hat switches is a little shaky. Yep I also did read this on different sites, but it appears Smoking is running on 64bit. Even the throttle bar has a great curve that makes it a breeze to tweak your speed slightly, unlike Microsoft’s sometimes confusing throttle control. I never thought of checking ebay. To unify the codebase, all support was taken out for both 5.

Thanks PH to verify this winfman Win10 64bit, so one thing is sure it does not work on a Win10 64bit system. Plus, the general looseness of the joystick itself didn’t lend itself to the steady, strong pull and push tricks that you normally feel in racing games.
